I have been painting and drawing since I was a small child and apart from low level art lessons at junior school am self taught. I have spent most of my adult life in Cornwall working as an interior designer, although I started out in boatbuilding. I am now reaching a point in my life where I am able to indulge my love of painting and boats and combined with the magical scenery and atmosphere in the west country have begun to put my feelings into paint.

 

I mainly paint in watercolours, although I do use other media occasionally, and I specialise in marine paintings and landscapes.
