Jan left the corporate world in the late 1990’s and made her way to Cornwall via Bali where she ran an art gallery and café in order to pursue her art as a painter and find a more meaningful way of life.

Her work has always been a reflection of her immediate surroundings be it a sense of mood, place or time and now living by the sea in Cornwall her work reflects the ever changing Cornish coast through the seasons.
