Robyn Weldon

Robyn Weldon was the last generation of artists to attend Dartington Collage of arts, before relocating to University Collage Falmouth in 2010. Having finished her degree in Fine Art Contemporary Practices, Robyn was selected to be the Artist in Residence at St George’s School Ascot, where she hosted her first solo exhibition and her love for teaching Art evolved.

Robyn’s artistic practice is inspired by where she feels at home - the Cornish landscape. Her paintings explore mark making and her expressive use of oils endeavour to capture the forever changing light, tidal direction and weather from across the South West coastline. Robyn’s evocative and moody work has been very well received locally, as she is based in the Falmouth and St Mawes area, and can often be seen sketching in the surrounding landscapes. Robyn continues to pursue her personal artistic practice, whilst also being the Head of Art at one of our local schools, Camborne Science and International Academy.
